A 3 month old Puppy is probably feeling uneasy by actually having so much around him. He is much too young to be left in a house by himself, even if there are other animals around. Your puppy should be kept in a crate/cage that is adjustable - meaning there is an extra gate piece that can make the cate smaller and larger as need be. A puppy at this age looks for comfort, and warmth, and being in a small enclosed area is absolte reassurance for them. Once the puppy is old enough to know it's boudaries, and is potty trained, then you can start to leave him alone for 1 hour, then 2, etc. (ie. when you run errands on the weekend). Ideally around the age of 1-1.5 yrs your pup can be left alone, or sooner, depending on the puppy's deamenor.
Good luck!

Your pup is suffering from separation anxiety. I'm the parent of two beagles and separation anxiety goes without being said in this household. Dogs are pack animals and love company. We had this go on so badly in my house I thought I was going to lose my mind. The best thing for you to do is crate train your pup. Crate training teaches the pup about respecting his own space and also helps a great deal with potty training & saving your furniture. Another thing that may help is having the dog in the crate when you are home for a little bit. The first mistake I made with my first dog was playing with him the whole time I was home. Then when I left to go to work, it was pure chaos. My dogs love their crates now, and so does my furniture and sanity :)

Your pup is 3 months old and is at that age where they want to be in everything and anything that they can get their little mouths on. It is not that your pup does not like to left alone, it is just that he likes to explore and destroy. I would highly recommend that you go out and that you purchase a crate for your little one. This will keep him and your belongings safe from harm. Make sure that the crate is only big enough for him to go in and turn around. You can put some of his favorite toys in there for him to be occupied while you are away.

yep, i would chain him up. the fridge, makes a good anchor for a leash, and also there's nothing there that he can get ahold of, and if he uses the bathroom, it's a no brainer to clean up. put his stuff close by so he can use it... and leave him there, until you get home.

Crate train him.
He can't destroy things if he's in his crate while you are gone.
