Im planning on getting a tattoo on my upper back between my shoulder blades. I want to get a cross with the meaning of my last name (which is "blessed") either over the cross or wrapped around it in some way. Think this will be a cool tat?

Ya know what's gonna happen a few years from now?
Everyone who has a tattoo is eventually gonna have kids
who think tattoos are totally uncool,
and, by association, so are the parents!
As such, plain, old, unblemished skin will be "in",
and tattoos will put you in the same class as "nerds"!
Scary thought, huh?
(of course, in some cases, it's scary to think of anyone
thinking that shoving needles and ink into their bodies
somehow makes them cool, much less having those
insecure people become parents!)

Yes, it is a good idea. I actually have a cross on my upper back with a Bible verse on a scroll which wraps around the cross, and mine turned out great.

i think that's a great tatoo because it has special meaning to you that won't change no matter how old you are. I also like that the tatoo will be in a location that is able to be hidden for when you are on job interviews, etc. I got 2 tatoos and i am sorry about the one around my ankle. As a female, I am always self-conscience in the business setting wearing skirts with hose.......
