They eat about 10-15 ml at every feeding and they eat at first every 2 hours (probably eat a bit less) and then every 4 hours. The kittens I raised slept through the night though, for about 7 hours, so I fed them every 4 hours but I skipped the meal that fell in the middle of the night.

Firstly I need to know what age it is. If it is a newborn, then you have to weigh her and then go buy some Cimicat or other kitten milk, not whiskas kitten milk. It has to be milk that is used for feeding kittens.
It will tell you on the back of the box what measurement of milk to water you need to put together and also the amount to weight of kitten.
If it is betwee 3-5 weeks old then you can start to wean her, you can do this by feeding her watery scrambled egg made with evaporated milk and a big blob of butter, also you can use baby rice with a little kettle water.
Also always use boiled water when adding it to kitten feed, never use tap water. You dont use boiling kettle water, but make sure it has been boiled, make sure when you feed the kitten, that the food is blood temperature, this is the same temp as mothers milk.
When you start feeding it kitten food, mash the food onto a saucer and put evap milk round the outside of the saucer, put in microwave and again heat to blood temp. The kitten will taste the evap milk that it is used to from the scrambled egg, and it will be easier to get her to eat kitten food.
Always make sure there is clean fresh water for her, and put that in a shallow saucer also, this will help her drink better as kittens tend to stick their heads into the water and it gets up their noses.

Good Luck and I hope this has helped

If the kitten is a newborn, 4 weeks or under, you will need to get them special kitten milk and some bottles to feed them. After 4 weeks teach them to drink out of a saucer.( You may have to supplement with the bottle). 6 weeks old you can try feeding them small amounts of canned food 4 times a day as their stomachs hold small amounts. They are not yet ready for dry food as the teeth have not fully strengthened. Still use kitten milk and put it down next to the food. Follow directions on the can as to how much to give each feeding. Also have water available at all times as that will be their source of liquid as they get older. Cut food down to 2 times a day (feeding a larger amount, of course) when they get older, you can delete the milk but always have water available.

I had to feed a kitten myself. He was the runt of the litter and the mamma cat had 5 other kittens to feed, so I went and got kitten formula from walmarts and just followed the directions. The kitten will stop sucking on the eyedropper when it's full. And it will cry when it's hungry again. I fed mine when the others were being fed by the mamma. Good luck!

you need to purchase a kitten bottle feeder and special milk formula for kittens and feed it 10-15ml every few hours day and night. It also depends on the age of the kitten the younger it is the more often it needs feeding! hope that helped! gd luck xx NEVER FEED YOUR CAT/KITTEN COW MILK!

sounds like its not weened yet. First of all u need a special formula for it. No gettin around that. If you feed it regular milk it WILL get sick and possibly die. Their systems can't handle the sugar!! It should be fed about every 2 1/2 hrs and u have to take a wet, warm cottonball, and wipe the kittens genitals, it has to be done, its the only way to get them to go. Its what the mother cat does all day. Thats why she licks them- not to keep them clean but to stimulat them do they will 'go potty'. Good luck!!
