If you are really out to impress her thinkof something different than movies or mall. Take her on a nice picnic that you made yourself then maybe to a lookout to watch the sunset, go rollerblading, to an art gallery, or something of cultural significance in your area. If you have a particular talent then teach her like hitting a baseball or cricketball, or tenpin bowling. Most of all be confident and focus on her

There are a ton of stuff u can do on a date. I am 17 also, and i date alot...
One thing that will help with the date is ask your date what would she like to do..do hobbies, go out to eat, watch movies, it never ends....just make sure u show her a good time, lol

okie...you are 17...take things casual.. go out for a movie, hang out at the mall...take her out for a drive and treat her to junk food.... that might be nothing special, but that's all that's expected from a 17 year old..so chill...
if you want to make it special once in a while to give your relationship a boost and keep the buzz in, take her out to a small cafe or intimate restaurant (there are some good ones out there that aren't too hard on the pocket), a picnic or a long walk will do well ( but first find out if she is the outdoorsy type.. ), take an interest in what she likes to do(ask her friends if you are clueless) and try to do that..... that way you can keep getting new ideas about things to do..
so take it casual and throw a buzz in once in a while to keep things moving..

GO-karts!! They're the coolest thing a 17 year old can do on a date plus, you get to see a different side of a person. Competition and adrenaline has a tendency to bring out the darker sides of a person's personality. Just don't slam her and give her whiplash on your way to the checkered flag.

There are all kind of things to entertain, pick a really good resturant, do things that both of you enjoy. stay away from the bad crowds .Try and make it enjoyable.

Baseball game..if she likes sports. You'll have plenty of time to talk and get to know each other in a public setting.
