Should I be the one to ask him out? Or should I wait for him?

Okay-
I've like this guy named Drew since Easter of this year. We've been really good friends and for the past month, talk and text every day. Well, day before yesterday, my bestfriend Cheal had a birthday party. And Drew was there. We saw eachother and smiled...but he seemed to be thinking about something. I had already made-up my mind that I like him.
I saw him and mt friend Alexa texting...I knew it!!! He liked her.... I was sad. But then, Alexa said ask him who he likes! and he said YOU!!! I was soo happy! Come to find out,. he was texting Alexa to ask when the best time to talk to me was!! He was just nervous. (he's extremely shy)
Well....we've been talking non-stop since then, and I dont know what to do...
So, should I go ahead and ask him out...or should I wait for him?

You should make the move and ask him out. If you continue to wait for him, he might not ask you.

Alright, here is what to do... if you ask him out yes it would be kinda weird and he would feel like you picked up the slack or something. He will get over his nervousness though and ask you if he really is interested. To help speed things up you might want to get a group of friends (guys and girls[but not pairs!!!]) to do something like go to a movie or out to eat. As a casual invitation you can say "hey a bunch of my friends and i are going to ______, and i figured, why not ask you?" something around those lines. "accidentally" sit next to him.. but if you cant make it look like a coincidence then dont try... maybe he wil sit next to YOU! Smile at him a lot and possibly say "im going to get a drink" and you might want to add "anyone want to come?" or just give him a quick smile and look mostly at him. Instruct your friends not to come that way it will be the 2 of u. Dont wait for him to talk... guys feel more nervous with more silence. but act a little shy too. Act like he's your good friend and be goofy and stuff but give him the perfect opportunity to ask you out.

hey are you just gonna sit back in the background forever?? Be honest with your feelings and be honest with yourself, go for it girl, don't sit back and wait until the fat lady sings...he's gonna start thinking that your not really interested in him. Don't depend on others telling you that he 'likes' you - could be rumours and you know what rumours are like - I like to call them 'add-ons' as a rumour spreads so does the lies...so go up to this dude and tell him what you think....words face to face are better than words on a dam text...trust me

okay YOU ask him to hang out (only if he doesnt ask you to hang first!duh) you to can go with a group of friends if it would be less awkward..okay then try to get just the two of you alone and if the moment is right HE will ask you out dont worry=]

Well,usally its the guy that asks the girl but..hey its different times now...so if u are sure that he likes u..and if u have guts go on ask him out..he will see that u have lots of confidense and that attracts guys...so u go girl..go get the guy...
