A question for R & S people?

Question

If you had to choose somebody NOT from your system of beliefs to best represent you, who would you pick from R & S?

In other words, who would be a great follower of your beliefs?

You said not of my system of beliefs. Why would they be a follower than?

I would choose TTC, Pangel, Barbara, Writersbock, Moderation in all things, Digilook, Red Queen, and Second Squirreling.

In that list there are Christians, atheists, a Buddhist and a spiritualist.

I'm technically Theravada Buddhist, but I don't know whether I can use the description anymore. My beliefs have become entirely my own, so if anyone else follows them, they know me as well as I do.

I have seen so many beliefs being represented on Answers that I can relate to (in some way, at least), that it's becoming harder each day to say that I have a set religion. Every day I seem to be adopting a new belief and understanding.

If I was to right now choose somebody to represent my beliefs, I would have to collect a huge amount of people. Not the entire world, but to accurately represent it, there would be most of the people who are not Christian, Muslim or Jewish (about 70% or so), plus around 10% of those who are of these religions.

Not from my system of beliefs ... hmmm, that's a tough one, but I would venture to say someone like Jeremy R (a Christian) or even Erica S (an Atheist), since they have beliefs that don't really wander far from my own beliefs. You may ask, how can a "bible-quoting" Christian (sorry Jeremy I didn't want to say "Bible-Thumping" LOL), or even an espoused Atheist, be close to a Catholic? Well, if you look at their thoughtful responses, and actually read them to fully understand where they are coming from in their response then you may understand that even though we don't share the same religious beliefs, we do share in our belief of humanity and that we should be here to help each other while we are here on this world.

From my system of beliefs (I'm a Catholic), I'd have to pick Faustina-akaPres of JPII FanClub, since she and I mirror each other (our answers & our beliefs) in a lot of ways.

Everyone is from my system of beliefs, because my belief system is as a Christian-based Fusionist, where I have fused the basic tenets of all isms, including those of the atheists.

But someone to represent me? There is no one who can represent me, but me. I hope that NO ONE follows MY beliefs, but that EVERYONE follows THEIR OWN. That is what we are here to learn.

Who do I adore? EVERYONE with whom I have connected! I cannot pick one or even two or even three! The list would be everyone of my contacts, because I have already learned from them and hope to continue to do so. And because NOT ONE of them would follow me, but ALL would follow their hearts.

Okay, I guess I'll make a deal with you: Since it isn't the idea of God that I'm against (it's being forced to live under the guidelines of other people's beliefs), I'll choose from people who do believe in a higher power without the superiority complexes that seem to go with it. I'd say either Gorgeoustxwoman or Kallan.

Uh ........ if I'm chosing someone "NOT of my belief system" then how can they be a great follower of my beliefs? I'm not following your question.

Well, dont completely get your question but usually I dont expect people to have to follow my beliefs just like how I dont expect people to expect me to follow their beliefs wihtout question.
