How do I use tea tree oil for the bump on my nose from my nose ring?

I had gotten my nose piercing in may. Now i have a bump on my nose for the 2nd time. I was told to get tea tree oil to get rid of the bump for good. I went and got the tea tree oil but i don't really know how to use it. If i am suppose to rise it off after a certain amount of time or do i just leave it on or soke it off with the sea salt water? Can anyone help me that have used this method of getting rid of the BUMP?

I had the very same thing happen after I got my nose pierced, I was told to use salt water, I mixed 1/4 cup of salt to 1 cup water in a bottle. I use a q-tip and clean around it inside and out. It worked great and I still use it. If you are going to use the tea tree oil I would do it the same way, just dip a q-tip in and clean around it inside and out.

Pure tea tree oil is very concentrated so you only need a tiny amount. I would apply it with a q-tip and leave it on. It's a natural antiseptic, so you don't want to wash it off, it needs time to absorb.
