I sometimes roast them. The golden rule with food, is that there are no rules. Just do what you like, as long as it's cooked properly.

I doubt it. New potatoes make delicious mashed potatoes. Beats mashing stale potatoes, though I don't recall ever asking a potato how old it was before I boiled it and smashed it.

I never discriminate against potatoes because of their age, but there is one exception. Mashing mushy-rotten potatoes is unpleasant, pointless, and redundant.

I prefer women to potatoes. Tasty, squeezable gals get better as they get older.

Yumm they are the best! I'd cook with nothing but new potatos if they werent so expensive ^_^

Have you ever dressed mashed new potatos up like a baked potato?
Of course, a little seasoning and oil do just the trick, too...

No, i like to do that too. If you mash them with your face then I would have to say you are the only one. You don't do that do you?

I love it. Especially a half and half mix of new potatoes and Yukon golds. Skins on!

Hope not, they are great. Bur I think I could eat them just about any way. My fave is with a cream gravy, my Grandmas used to do this a lot.
