It's a bit like the male version of the romance novel. It's pure fantasy and they have no allusions that it is anything else.

I felt like that too till I discovered that I sometimes enjoy it too! Not that we watch porn together or that I seek out porn every day, but I have sometimes seen something on TV or read a love scene that makes me go weak in the knees.
What I would feel terrible about was if I felt that he was watching stuff where women or children were abused. Or if he watched it every day or week or whatever. Once in a while is okay- I think! Or if I felt that the porn was beginning to substitute for a loving sexual and emotional relationship- that would be a sign or real trouble.
I must admit though that when he went to a strip club with his friends for his bachelor's party, I was really insecure.

Why should you be spending time and energy trying to find a way to "feel better about it?" If you are upset about this, your boyfriend should care and the two of you should discuss it together. That is why it's called a relationship. This issue is not something for you to "get over" or resolve on your own or through advice from strangers. This is something he should be working out with you.

I am a women and I do watch porn. Used to be ashame of that untill I read a book "Hot Sex" by Tracy Cox. If you want to understand this and many other things give it a try. Unlike title suggests it is not just about dirty sex. It is very good book explaining differences between partners, and how to accept things in him/her and yourself.

when a man looks a porn its meaningless he's just looking at it cause he has nothing else to do. And because he is a man he likes to look at other women, when he does this he does'nt think about anyone else just thinks about getting himself aroused. when he does so and comes off the computer and into the real world, he sees you and realises how lucky he is to have the real thing. we, men. consider porn as fantasy and does'nt compare at all to the real world.
hope this helps ...probably not anyway i did try to show it through a man's p.o.v since i am a man

My hubby watches porn everyonce in awhile and i dont' like it at all, but i've come to realize that men are just visual creatures, it's not that they want to get it on with those woman in the movies they watch, sometimes we are not in the mood or they just want a quick release so they watch it, so as long as he's not watching it every single day that goes by i wouldn't sweat it.

Guys watch porn because they're not emotionally satisfied. Of course you can't be there 24/7 each times he thinks about sex.
I think a good compromise will be. Tell him, "I'm not going to be your mother, but you'll have to accept the fact I don't like you watching porn. So I want you to keep it out of sight, out of mind while I'm around."

It's fine.
He's being like most men and most women!
Both genders tend to watch porn. Some would rather not.
He's not cheating on you no. Yes he's seeing other female bodys, but the main thing is that you love each other.
Atleast he confronted you about it, you know?
Really, you shouldn't worry. It's just a way he likes to express his sexuality when he's alone.
Hope this helps!

To some people porn is an addiction. They can't help that they watch it and they feel they have to. However most men in general do watch porn or look at it. Wheather this is a result of addiction or not , I have no idea.

I really wouldn't put too much stock into it. Men watch pornography, men, single and married, look at all women; fact of life. I have girlfriends who read erotic books but get upset when their boyfriends look at naked pictures. Go figure. It is only when it becomes an addiction that it becomes a problem.
