r66it, Mohammed, Buddha, and Krishna do all have things in common with each other, they're taking dirt naps and have never died or risen for your or anyone's salvation. Jesus did!

Jack P, don't blame Christians for your shortcomings. God does not take rainchecks. He wants what is His! That includes YOU!

queenthesbian, in response to your non-answer, I must assume that you are an unbeliever. Having said that, your choice like all others rest with you. Don't blame God for your hardened heart.

You asked.

All my life I've heard about Jesus from people whom I came to see had a lot in common.

The traits they had in common were the antithesis of those I respected and admired.

I didn't and do not wish to have anything in my life that comes with the high recommendations of such people.

I'll find my own way, [which I've done], or I'll pull something off the shelf at random [which I haven't had to do] throughout my life before I'll seriously consider adopting the advice of people who've shown themselves to be what I've mostly seen in Christians.

Consider Jesus a casualty, peripherally damaged by Christians.

Osiris died and rose from the dead long before Jesus. The ancient Egyptians believed that would find eternal life after death if they followed and worshiped Osiris.

Jesus is neither original nor unique. There is also no evidence whatsoever that he actually ever existed.

Semper - when I run into people like you, I always have to wonder if you are just so stupid that it makes you seem crazy, or if you are just so crazy that it makes you seem stupid. Of course, in your case, it is probably both.

That's a good way to think about it though! I definitely tapped God on the head in the game, and I'll let him catch me too.

I don't understand your "question".

But I guess you don' really want an answer to your non-question, you just wanted to post a sermon & try to convert people to YOUR religion.

How many converts have you won with this tactic ?

Semper Fi -read my "non-answer" very very carefully OR have someone read it to you. I never blamed God for anything, and you don't know me, so you have no idea what kind of heart I have.

I don't understand your question about playing duck-duck-goose with God. Your non-question makes no sense. It looks like some sort of teaser you put up, just so you could follow up with a sermon telling people to "try Jesus". Sheesh, that "try Jesus" sounds like some commercial slogan, like Jesus is a brand of cola or something.

I guess since you want an answer to your aburd question here is my answer.

I have not played Duck Duck Goose since kindergarten. As far as I know, GOd wasn't playing with us. So I have only played Duck Duck goose with kindergarten children.

No. Because ducks and geese are "unclean" birds according to God. I would have to play, Pigeon, Pigeon, Quail.

I love your spirit.....God is using you!

Wouldn't Jesus be just another duck? Why not try Krishna, or Mohammed, or Buddha? There's no more evidence for Jesus than any of these.
