Beeswax will flake off if it gets cold enough, but it gets sticky before it gets cold and non-sticky, so I'd save that as a last resort. Get lots and lots of paper towels, and start melting the beeswax out with a blow dryer, and wiping it up with the paper towels. Don't try to use the paper towels too much, or you'll end up putting the wax back onto your hair.

Once you've gotten most of it out, warm up some baby oil to just below too hot for your skin, put it in a basin, lay back and let your hair soak in it. The baby oil (Mineral Oil) will dissolve some or all of the beeswax, and then you can take a hot shower and shampoo the beeswax/oil mixture out of your hair. You might need to do this a few times, depending on how much wax you got in your hair.

Good luck, and remember not to try to brush your hair until all the wax is completely out.

Went ot college with a jamacian. He said best an about the only is too cut it. This doen't have too mean shave it.
I'd proably go to a salon and have them removed.
Hence the name dreadlocks.
