i enterd a number on speedbit and they saved my ip number

It depends on the "false credit card number".

If the card was not a valid card at all, the transaction will not go through and that will be as far as it goes.

Now if the card was a valid number, but not yours the transaction could go through. Once it goes through that becomes fraud. When the actual card holder reports the charge, you could be in for some serious problems.

When you entered a credit card number to purchase on line. It also asked you the 3 digit security code on the back of the card. If these number don't match, it won't pass authorization and the purchase will not be approved.

If you tried too many times, it may raise a red flag but if it was an honest mistake, no, no one would think it was fraud

It depends. Most defintiely your transaction won't be honored, and if the card number is one that was reported stolen, the Boys in Blue will be at your door soon enough.

Speaking as a nationally known credit score and mortgage lending expert (book, radio shows, newspaper column, etc.)...

It should come back not-approved as a money transaction

it depends if you get away with it nothing but if you get caught you could get banned from the network or get a fine if the worst comes to the worst you could get locked up for abour 2 or 3 weeks
