I want the dog to drink more water.

unless the dog has a medical reson for drinking more than it does, let the dog decide how much water it needs. At a outside dog show we do use a light mix of Gatorade type stuff to help keep the dog drinking. But ordinarily a dog will drink what it needs.

He will drink the water that his body needs. Dog's are good that way.
Adding honey is basically adding sugar. Not a good idea.

I heard that honey is bad for dogs. I think your dog will drink what it needs.

Do not give your dog sugar. Dogs' bodies are not equipped to digest added sugars that are in human foods. Your dog drinks to stay alive so he will drink as he needs to. If he doesn't drink enough to be healthy, take him to the vet.

Why do you want the dog to drink more water?
You can lead a dog to water but you can't make him drink.
He's full, saturated, had enough, bloated.
Leave him alone.
Dogs don't sweat. They require less water.

Yes, there is no need to put anything like that in his water.
He probably doesn't need to drink any more water than he already does.
Just change the water in his bowl everyday.

If you want the dog to drink more water then you have to let him know it has to drink if im not correct check with the vet(hay that rymes!)

yes its suger and u can develope diabetes, try milk, and cooled tea with out sugar but keep the water fresh by addin ice cubes
