Treatments for Agoraphobia
Psychiatric drugs such as SSRI’s and benzodiazepines can be effect when treating agoraphobics who also experience panic attacks. Treatments tend to be more effective when combined with behavioral therapy.

Systematic desensitization can also be effective. This approach involves gradual exposure to real-life feared situations.

Having two agoraphobics in my family who have been successfully treated you have taken the first step by asking for help and recognizing you have a problem. Great attitude!

Please take the next step and contact a doctor to get you in for evaluation so you know exactly what you are dealing with and a course of treatment can begin.

I have found that medication combined with good therapy is the best way to go. You need to have therapy to help understand why you behave the way you do and to give you really good coping strategies to gradually ease you out of habits that have been created by your condition.

This could be a combination of depression and agoraphobia. A lot of times the two go hand in hand and are treated hand in hand.

Please go get the help you recognize you need. You will feel so much better for it.

I would work on it with a all over approach. Load up on the minerals, clean out your colon regularly (75% of seritonin is made in colon) and make sure your not being contaminated with toxins. Food allergies? www.awisealternative.com

Eat fruit and raw (blanched) veggies for a month straight and see if you feel better.

Do blood work with your dr and make sure your not having hormonal imbalances like thyroid free t3 free t4 , TSH and testosterone. Check your 90 day blood sugar level. (a1c)

There are medications which can help tremendously. You need to see a psychiatrist for this. If you go to a mental health clinic, you will get this and you can work on gradually reaching out to people so you can have some successes. Success breeds success.

What makes you think you are special enough for everyone to be spying on you or talking about you??? I'm not kidding, there's so much self obsession here!! Get a councilor so you can get over it and get on with life...get it??

I know this sounds harsh but sometimes blatantly pointing out how silly it is helps, if not...I tried...good luck
