Coke Zero has Splenda added to make it taste sweet. Diet Coke doesn't have the sweetener. Personally, I think Coke Zero tastes better, but they say even diet soda is bad for you, so I guess I will have to stick to water.

Diet Coke - completely seperate Coke formula from Coca Cola Classic, developed for use as a diet soda from the get-go..... this formula was adapted in the 80s to use corn syrup/sugar and became "New Coke" (later known as Coke II).... sweetened with Aspartame aka Nutrasweet

Coca-Cola Zero - a sugar-free adaptation of the Coca-Cola Classic formula.... marketed to young males who normally wouldn't choose a diet drink... In my opinion, MUCH better than Diet Coke.... sweetened with a blend of Aspartame aka Nutrasweet and Acesulfame Potassium aka ACE-K

And to the above folks who are kidding themselves and believe that Coca-Cola Zero has no caffeine, WRONG.... it has as much as Coke Classic..........

Coke zero,, since I drink it alot, has no CAFFEINE, no calories, carbs, protein, fat, lower sodium, and no sugar. Diet coke has no sugar, no carbs, no protein, no fat, and 30g of sodium, and it does not have any calories. I have a bottle in front of me. lol.
Caffeine is the main ingredient between the 2.
They also have the new Diet Coke plus.. which has vitamins and minerals in it to help you with your day. lol.
