There are so many possibilities, you probably want to see a doctor on this one. However, one possiblity that is often overlooked is that it may be caused or agravated by a food allergy. There are many possible allergens, including soy, milk, eggs, alcohol, peanuts, and more. I suggest searching on the internet for more information on detecting food allergies - or food intollerances.

But my best suggestion is still go see your doctor! as symptoms like that may be indicative of many things, and many of them need to be detected early. You don't neccessarily need to immediately take whatever is prescribed to you, I always recommend doing your own research, but if nothing else a doctor can be a good consultant.

(A further note, a couple of more obvious possibilities are parasites - a much more common problem than most people realize - or a problem with the glands around the stomach area. As a child I always got severe stomach pains with any cold or flu because of those glands.)

Try drinking ginger tea or ginger ale. Then eating something very mild to 're-awaken' your appetite. For me, it's pineapple. Other people are more comfortable with apple sauce, or cream of wheat.

If this doesn't work soon, you'll have to get over your dislike of doctors.

Good luck!
