im 19 and wanted to know if this is normal my penis just gets hard when my girlfriend just holds my hand and just gets hard for nothing in class how can i stop this problem.and its very imbarassing

Oh that's completely normal and it just happens. Your girlfriend should be flattered! My now husband used to get hard when he met me off the train.
You can stop it by...thinking about something REALLY unattractive or a big turn off. And some people recommend...how did they put it in Something About Mary?...cleaning the pipes before you see her. Get one shot away, so to speak.
Enjoy being 19, what a great age to be in a relationship. Sigh, too long ago for me.

It's age-appropriate and normal, although I remember it being a bit embarrassing at times. You can't stop it (and believe me, you wouldn't want to even if you could) but you can develop tactics to keep it covered up to a degree and less noticeable. Broadening experiences will take care of this dilemma for you, but unlike a homework assignment it's not something you want to rush out and try to "accomplish". There's a time ahead of you when you'll look back fondly and refer to this as the "good old days", so enjoy them for what they are right now and try not to worry about it.

It is normal, there is nothing you can do about it, really, you are normal and you should not worry about this.
I really do not see a problem, but try and "think baseball" when you notice something happening.
There is really nothing you can do about this, it is not like you can "train" it to behave, it has a mind of its own!

hmm sometimes that happens... maybe u like the girl a LOT... when a girl that i like approaches me, the same thing happens... once a girl was sitting beside me in confirmation classes, and she put her leg on top of mine and began to rub me.... that wall cool, and my penis ecreted XD.... well the thing is that is normal sometimes
