that's the top of the Mayan calendar is all. My Christmas calendar ends Dec twenty fourth. no person seems to be making a great deal out of that for some reason? additionally the Mayans did no longer calculate leap years. Had the worldwide ended while they expected it would be June 2011. And Dec 21 isn't the date. The Mayans did no longer provide a particular date. twenty first has only caught on. i'm continuously against worldwide ending panics human beings get. I shield the worldwide won't end - and if it does, no you will say I advised you so. In my lifetime i've got curiously survived 4 apocalypses. No, i'm no longer immortal. Apocolypse predictions are only incorrect, something made great to sell products. only approximately something may well be made to make it sound apocalyptic. somebody on YouTube mentioned Gangman type will kill us all..? only watch for turning out to be up, having young ones and exhibiting them the action picture "2012" and asserting "I survived this" you would be effective. except we are already lifeless, and then if so, heavens extraordinarily crap.

Well, the Bible teaches us that no one knows the day or time. I think that in 2012....which I do believe to be a significant year, that the world is going to "start" being in the final days. The BAD end of times predictions will start. Famine, droughts, diseases, etc........maybe even the war getting on the "HOLY" land, which it is just right next door to right now. I saw once in the Bible about that part, war being on the holy land. But that is my opinion. No one knows for sure, but I do not think we are far away. I'm 41, and I believe by the time I'm old if I should live that long or say by the time I'd reach about 75, it will be over. If not me, then I believe definitely by the time my children reach that age that things will come to an end.

Not in 2012, I firmly believe. And not during our lifetime.

There will still be a thousand years of peace. We have not experienced that since it was prophesied about 2000 years ago. So first, the reduction of the people in this world. Then, the Millennium of peace. Afterwards, Satan is released for a while to tempt the descendants of the elect. Then, the Judgment Day and the return of Jesus and the end of this world.

The reduction is until 2200. So about 200 more years from now. Plus 1000 years of peace. Plus say 350 years that Satan is waging war against God. So, about year 3750. Nostradamus predicted about this time too.

I will answer from the Holy Quran:

1> 187. They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden." They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allâh (Alone), but most of mankind know not." (AL-A'raf)

2> 77. And to Allâh belongs the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. And the matter of the Hour is not but as a twinkling of the eye, or even nearer. Truly! Allâh is Able to do all things. (AL-Nahl)

3> 15. "Verily, the Hour is coming - and I am almost hiding it from Myself - that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. (Taha)

I personally don't believe the world will ever end. I believe extremely tough times are ahead for earth and mankind...nuclear and biological warfare, disease, famine, depravity...and so on. I believe Jesus Christ will intervene and save the planet Himself. He will purge the earth destroying everything and those who destroy the earth. Then He'll restore it, setting up His own Kingdom along with His believers. As far as when all this will take place I don't know and I don't think anyone knows. It's close though...it's real close. Just read the entire 24th chapter of Matthew and compare it to how the world is today.

My calendar runs out on 31st December, Id better buy next years before I cause everyone to panic again.

We've already had several count downs to the end of the world, and a lot of red faces at work the next day when everyone told their boss to get stuffed......

Whats with the morbid fascination about the destruction of our planet? Is your life that bad?

The world will never end, as promised in "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" and "The Book of the Lamb", also known as "Revelations" in the Holy Bible. The world As We Know It will end in the very near future. Many believe, as do I, that Christ has returned to re-create the earth, and to eliminate all evil and everything bad, such as sickness, handicap, hatred, the Muslims, the Communists, and all those who love and maketh a lie.

If I had to give you an estimate as far as when This world will end, and the New World begin, I would say 5-7 years and we will have been victorious on the field of Armageddon, and the Devil will have been sealed in his own hell for 1,000 years.

Unless the Earth is smashed by a planetoid, in 5.5 billion years the sun will have converted sufficient % of its hydrogen to higher elements, thus evolving into a red giant, which will either completely destroy the Earth--or at least suck all of its atmosphere away. That will be the end of Earth.
