Yes, provided it is sealed with a cork. The screw caps, and those "box o' wines" that you see will not continue to mature. You need something that breathes, like a cork. Other types of containers will not allow oxygen to penetrate, and therefore not age.

Yes they do to a certain degree. Even the homemade wines will do this and most wines will " mellow" with some time. When most wines are first made, they may have a sharper alcohol taste to them . A month or two does them good in a general sense.

You really wont know how old a wine is unless the bottle is marked when you buy from a liquor store so you probably don't need to age that wine and the maker may have already done that.

I age my homemade wine anywhere from 0 time to when the last bottle is drank, about a year later. Usually 2 months at most.

No, Some whiskey actually gets worse over time!! If you don't open the bottle over ten years you won't taste any difference at all! Hope that helps

yes it does continue to age, some of them actually taste much better after leaving them to age for a few months. depends what flavours you're going for. But dont leave them too long.
