in any sensible way. you could say the same about science. the thing is, that science is actually looking, religion has been ,almost, the same for over 6000 years.

don't you think that science should be given more credence in everything, over and above religion.

good question/statement, scientific facts that the entire community have agreed to BE fact, throw the entire christian belief into question, or any other belief for that matter. why won't the Christians look at the, other, interpretations of their faith and why do they say they don't blindly believe, when they so clearly do!
a fundamental part of being human, is to question his/her own existence! on the most part religion keeps well away from this fact to keep control, because the fact of creation are at odds with creationism

Questions about religion can never be answered for the very simple reason that there is no such thing `gods.`
`Gods` are mythical and therefore do not exist.
Science, all aspects of it, can be proven.
No-one has ever proved that even one `god` has existed, and never will.
All aspects of religion are man-made, man-thought-upable, and total supposition, speculation, guesswork (unproven) and totally conjectural.
Think of Father Xmas. Is he real also?
Christians get around the time scale of the earth being made in six days - which is totally unconceivable - by claiming that their `god`s `day` was a thousand years old. So that makes it OK then?
They make up all sorts of outrageous and unbelieveable stories to prove their extremely weak points.
They are the biggest con-merchants existing.

i don't think there should be any conflict between science and religion. Why?
The writings of the worlds religions have remained the same. and the teachings, but religion is a practice not a book.
Anyone practicing their religion is on a road to self discovery.
I think the main purpose of these old texts (though i believe many are now poorly understood) was to keep the perspective on how it all began.

All answers are in the Bible if you read it with faith and you believe in God and Propechy you can find the connections.

At the same time I do not discredit Science, the only major argument Christians have with Scientists is that the Earth according to the Bible was made in seven days The Bible also says in the New Testament that one of God's days "Is like a thousand years" So Christians stand by saying that the seven days was actually 7000 years.
Now let me say Jesus Christ is Lord God however I do not agree with this Christian belief in fact there is proof in the Bible itself that it is wrong for the one who says it is actually quoting from the book of Psalm's; verse 90:4 I believe. In this Psalm it says with God yesterday is like a thousand years OR a watch in the night! which means if you went by that the day and night are separate which makes the combined 2000 years for one day and hence the Earth would have been made in about 14,000 years.
However once again I believe th psalm verse is speaking figuratively and in my opinion one of God's days is more like 500,000,000 years human time.

Religion can not answer ANY question with validity, because it is based on a false premise, that our lives and everything else in the universe are the result of Divine activity, that there is some guiding intelligence.
Religion has absolutely nothing positive to contribute to human progress, at all. We need to grow out of it.

Christians have faith in God.

Great is the mystery of God. It takes a life time learning about him. I believe we will not know everything until we get to heaven. Because the more we know we find the more there is to learn.

This is what is so great about God and being a Christian, THERE IS NO END. Our little human mind can not fully comprehend God, he is to great.

"Religious" people tend to stop at a certain place. This is not God's will. He is not pleased with religion, but rather faith in him.

What you see is a problem I see as a good thing. A lot of the questions some people have God has answered for me, because of my personal relationship with him.

The mysteries of God are not of any private interpretation. They are for ALL who seek him.

Nope!

Science is only now grudgingly beginning to accept that there are some things that cannot be explained rationally or logically and which cannot be reproduced under laboratory conditions.

Neither Religion nor Science have all the ansers nor are they supposed to have therefore to prioritise one over the other is pointless.

I was taught that Pluto was a planet in school. Now they say its a star.
As far as religion goes,we should never change the truth. And all though there is a lot of question about religion bear in mind that He is a big God.He already knew what Pluto was.He created it.

You make a valid point except for one factor.
When you refer to 'religion', you are probably thinking christendom.
Please do not confuse christendom with Christianity.
Christendom is the absolute worst representative Christianity ever had.
Christendom has purposefully kept people in the dark by telling them lies.
The founder of Christianity (Jesus) always exhorted his followers to learn.
He is the one that said:
"You will know the truth ....." John 8:32

Perhaps...but who made science?

If science were of man, we would know all of the answers. All of the answers ARE out there...somewhere. Who made all of the answers?

Only a few hundred years ago science "proved" that Black people were biologically not fully human. Religion never took that stance.
