Well it's hard to stay full throughout the day, but you can start out by eating 5 smaller meals every day instead of 3 large ones.
You won't lose 18 pounds just by walking.. but you can try..
I'd suggest you do some cardio which burns fat (ie- running, jump roping)
Hope you reach your goal!

Your idea should work but only if you do more exercise than walking. You need to tone your entire body not just walk, so make sure you lift some weights for your arms and do some form of crunches for abs. If all you can manage for cardio is walking make sure you increase your distance & speed every couple of days. If you are able to swim then start doing laps increasing as you get stronger. Swimming exercises the entire body including the heart.
Drink 6 glasses of water a day and make sure your diet includes less fat, more fiber, lots of vegetables and lean meat protein.
If you are a chocoholic, you are allowed 1 small square of dark chocolate right after your dinner each night.

Drink your 6-8 glasses of water a day so that you dont overeat and try to eat 3-4 small meals a day instead of 2-3 big ones. Eat lots of fiber and try running and bike riding sometimes to speed up heart rate and burn more calories! Jump roping is good way to get a quick and efficient workout. Jump roping for 1 hour = losing 1000 calories. So try that for a half hour and then try to go for longer.
GOOD LUCK!

Protein will help ward off hunger , if it is a healthy choice such as chicken, turkey ,nuts and legumes .Drink a glass of water before eating or if hungry this will help to tide you over. Stay away from red meat and pork !
A rule of thumb when choosing healthy foods is if you can't read it don't eat it.(ingredients)
The walking will help a lot too.You seem determined that is the most important thing loosing the weight slower will lesson your chances of putting it back on.

sounds good, very do-able. instead of eating 3 meals, eat 5 or 6, one every 3 hours. make them smaller, of course. make sure to include enough fiber. that will help you not overeat and feel full. or at least satisfied. drink plenty of water. if you think you're hungry, drink some water and wait 5 minutes. if you still feel hungry, eat something. often the feeling is false hunger, which is really thirst.
