I didn't know that about a week ago, the owner's of this business started towing people who used their parking lot after-hours to go to the club next door. I usually can cut myself slack by chalking it up to an honest mistake. But this sort of thing seems to happen to me more frequently than usual. About a month ago I got a ticket for turning right on a red light, totally legal in my state but just not at this one designated intersection in town. I'm such a cautious driver because I'm a nurse and know better, but this car is costing me a fortune in lessons learned. Not to mention the fact that I was attacked by 2 dobermann's in my sister's neighborhood 6 weeks ago & was mauled so bad I ended up with 14 stitches. Came out with hundreds of dollars in E.R. bills even after insurance covered most of it. I'm starting to think I can't leave my house without screwing up and paying greatly for it. Could this all be part of life? I need a way to learn how to quit screwing up!!!

Let me add that when I was attacked by the 2 dogs... It was partly my mistake at least in my eyes because, long story short, my sister's dog was in her neighbor's yard.... so I went into their yard to get her dog. She had told me these 2 dogs were all bark and no bite, but now I know I shouldn't have taken her word for it. I turned out to be the 3rd person I know of that has been bitten by these 2 dogs. I still think I should have known better.

Lets take the attack of the Dobers. That was complete not your fault. You did nothing. I hope you did a police report. Contacted the owner and gave them the entire bill to pay... Promptly bring suit on them---You have to fight back.. Pain and sufering and all that
Got the car towed. A parking error--absolutely no one was injured... Just pay the bill and don't park their next time..
Right turn on red--we have a few of those in Daytona. But nothing happened. Received a ticket. The officer probable wrote 30 that day. Your not alone. Just pay the fine
Things have happened to me just like this. I took my day off and did nothing. Stayed home and watched TV and ate-- naps. As a nurse-- you hava a lot of explosive tension at any minute while on shift. I also know the a lot of overtime is done. Now is the time you need some time for yourself. It is telling you to stop and take a break --- one week should do it... The day I took was just a starter. I did take two weeks off ---with out pay...... ... . ...

Getting mauled by the Dobermanns weren't your fault. Parking in a lot where you shouldn't is your fault, but normally wouldn't have had such a consequence. You are going through a string of bad luck and perhaps not thinking through everything you do (most of us don't). Quit beating yourself up. It is a bad time for you. Learn from the mistakes you can do something about and let go of the rest. By the way, those Dobermanns. The owner could be responsible for what they did to you. Did you ever check that out?

Yes, this is called life. You are not alone. Bad things happen to good people too. Nice thing about it is that if learn from these bad times you will get strong and you are going to be able to handle situations better and better as you get older. Or you can be weak and cry about every little adversity that comes your way. Doing that will really start to hurt your social skills. So my advice is to Pick your self up and keep rockin and rollin and learn from all your endeavors, this will give you the tools you need for future challenges you will face and help others because you will have the experience. Cheer up, it's all good.

It's only a screw up if you think of it that way. The only thing I can really say is not to worry about it so much. To try ask why something happens is unreasonable. So all that's left is to take it as it comes with as high spirits as possible and keep going that direction cause eventually if you can stay happy through all the bad times; the good times will seem like heaven.

Sorry for your misfortunes, but besides chalking it up to an honest mistake, you're going to have to also chalk it up to learning experiences. Maybe what you've learned today will someday save your life, or someone's close to you. Think about it...you've learned that when you park on other people's property, you'd better be very clear about the rules. You've learned not to take what you already know for granted, and to keep alert while driving. And you've learned that animals are unpredictable, and in a stressful situation even a tame one might revert to basic animal instinct. So take it all in, live and learn, and thank God you haven't been permanently damaged or scarred.

In regards to the car, if it was just towed to a private yard, the fees to recover the car should be relatively modest. On a personal note, i've always liked the nickname "lucky". Too bad about the dogs though. Take care and good luck.

There are no such things as good and bad luck. The things we go thru are learning tools.GOOD AND BAD. These things that happen to us make us smarter and with a small amount of common sence make good things happen on the road we call life.Be safe and take care the rest is up to you.

You may need a vacation. Bad luck has crossed your path. You will have to double think things for a while. Here in LA you do that always or else. Lack of that consideration will cost you. Take your time doing things.
