do you think this will ever happen?

Currently, a draft is unnecessary in the USA. It is still an option if it ever comes to it, but currently the system is working fine.

Yes they can be a draft we sure as the hell need one to help are men who have been 3 an 4 times to iraq so join an do something for your country there is worse things than dieing

A draft will alway be considered. For example, you dont plan on using a fire extinguisher, but you make sure it works just in case.

Currently, we dont need it. It wont be passed anytime soon. If Russia and China came after us together, that might be different.

It's a reasonable assumption that any time we are at war the draft could be instated. This General was just on NPR this afternoon and he did not come across as a ultra conservative "war hawk."

No draft. To institute a draft it would require approval of both the congress and the senate. Not going to happen!!

our military is volunteers..think about this..would you want to be in combat with someone who was forced to serve next to you/?..do you think he will give a sh it about you like a volunteer would??...would he have your back??..or just cover his own as s??
