I am not asking about suicide which kills someone else. What about if someone is in so much pain and ends their life peacefully with medication? What about someone who is heartbroken over the loss of a loved one.

I view suicide as a horrible act of selfishness. as Muslims we know whatever we suffer in this life we will be rewarded for when we go to paradise. We should always remember that Paradise will be better then we can imagine and we should try to live our lives as we have been shown by Prophet Mohammed(PBUH)...Pain is horrible that is no lie but we did not give ourselves life so we have no right to take it.

If someone faces such a situation in which he is in extreme disability, constant pain, suffering or carving a life within the hospital or in bed 24-7, even then he has no right to discontinue living. It is God's decision whether you live or die, not yours, because He has given you your life.
If someone goes through such an ordeal, then he can actually be lucky because God will cleanse him of much of his serious sins (if he repents) through this test.
About being heartbroken or depressed, then it is severly forbidden because it can always be reversed or he might just be going through emotionally testing times.

I personally find it stupid beyond comparison. Something I like to live by is "Never give up, never surrender." I mean come on, suicide is just a way of saying "You can't fire me, I quit."
I understand that pain plays an enormous role, but its your duty to shoulder that burden and carry on. If you end you life becasuse you lost your beloved, what would your beloved say? "Yay, now we're both dead!(?)"
Suicide is a cowards way out. Shoulder your bruden, defy your shame, restore your honor. To give up is the greatest failure. Perhaps these words seem outdated, but it still has wisdom resounding within.

Suicide is forbidden in Islam. If someone kills themself, they are committing a sin. I try my utmost best to follow what my religion teaches. To committ suicide is rushing death uopn oneself.. Being patient would be better. Allaah knows best.

People who committed suicide usually have lacked of Imaan. lack of Trust to GOD, lack of Trust To Allah SWT, Lack of submission to Allah SWT.
Islam means submission to GOD.
So, difficulties, pains, broken hearted, many of those actually can be avoided, does not need to happened.
Unless it was/ is purely accident.
The prophet s.a.w. reminded us that when we have/find problem(s), it's either a reminder to stop doing sin or a way of stepping up ladder in life.

In Islam you are not allowed to kill good things including yourself because you are a follower of Islam. You must recite the Quran when in pain and other muslim brothers and sisters must help you because they will get their blessing from Allah. Allah loves people more than people love people. Sometimes because of that love, Allah takes them to heaven quickly. Sometimes they have to learn to be patient because in time to come, Allah will bless them.

It's between them and God. It's the same answer for all of us. None of us know the state of mind of the individual who kills themself. So many want to judge that person, even I do: Because of the hurt that everyone around them goes through. But the eternity of that person is between God and that person.

I view suicide as something totally WRONG. Many people might feel that their lives are not worth living, but who knows what's going to happen in the future? The Current situation is not everything, there's nothing in this world worth someone killing himself/herself.

At least if a bad muslim goes hell their is an opportunity for 1 day to be released & sent to heaven. Suicide people do not get this opportunity.

I know one place called Lovers peak..where they jumped to kill themselves because of their parents are dumb and traditional.and did not agreed for them to get married.. sick parents breed sick people.
