Our losses can be highly distressing, especially when they are close to home, they can make us question our own life purpose and make us realise just how venerable that we really are and that nothing will last forever even ourselves .Fear of dying and death itself are to a lot of people absolutely terrifying, fear of the unknown builds more fear.Think back for a moment or two were you afraid of being born, not many people will remember this event or even try to .we have all been here before and will be again and again.Every beginning has an end and every end has a beginning the cycle is a constant ,ask yourself why this concerns you . is it the fear of dying ? As you cannot fear death it has not happened to you yet .I believe you probably feel your friends are around you at times and dream of them often as if they were with you talking to you. This is because they have not really gone,Their physical bodies are gone but their spirit still remains with those they loved and whom loved them, watching and helping where they can.I can feel that you are very sensitive and I believe that you feel this.Do not worry about your friends they are watching over you always.Worry about the life that you are living this is the most important thing,Don't waste it on worry and fear, live as if there were no tomorrow and live true to yourself . They would not want you to live in fear and misery due to their demise. Love and light

That's a question that you can ask a hundred different types of people, and you will get a hundred different answers.

The answers that people may give are based on their up bringing, experiences in their lifes and their religion beliefs.

The answer you will want to believe is the one that makes you feel safe and comfortable.

The only ones that know if there's life after death are the ones that are dead.

We will really never know until we die.

A great number of people are affraid to die for what ever reason, but there's nothing you can do about it.

There's only two things that are certain in this world.

Your given life and then at sometime you die.

Life and death are only things that for certain.

There nothing you can do to change it.

I always said, if there's nothing after death that it would be a shame.

I have encountered a great deal of wonderful people in my life that are no longer here.

Seems to me that wouldn't be right for them if it's allover when they died.

Since there's nothing we can do to live forever, we need to enjoy life to the fullest.

Kiss and hug our kids and tell them how special they are.

Tell your spouse how much you love them and how wonderful it is to have them in your life.

Learn to get a long with others.

Don't worry about the little stuff.

Wow, what can I tell you. Death is real. accept it, get over it, live your life fully.

From the day you are born you are moving towards your death.

I could say that you are living your death out. Once you get that in your head, the question quits being how to live forever but how to make your life(death) mean something.
The only meaning it will ever have is what you give it.
Raise children because they are your only real claim on immortality. Second to that is to do enough good for everybody around you that they remember you after you are gone.

So, children, family, humanity.

At your funeral the more greatgrandchildren you have running around your coffin, playing tag and fighting, screaming for their mommies, the better.

If you are religious that is fine. In the New Testament there is one part where Jesus is with the children and says that "as you do unto these, you do unto me also." So no matter what else, if you are facing your judgement and God asks what you did in your life, if you can say "I was good to children," you are guaranteed an easy-in to the highest levels of heaven.

Death is the beginning of another birth. There are 8 stages of death. After the 4 stages, it's when the doctor pronounce a person dead. But a person's mind (or can call it soul) will stay in another state for as long as 49 days. If the person didn't do anything evil, he will be reborned again according to conditions due to the person's karma or doings. Remember that during death, our state of mind is very important. When we are about to go, we must let go of any attachments to our loved ones or even materials wants. Don't hold back. Depending on your religion, It is useful to look at some images such as Jesus Christ, Mother Mary(if you are Christian or Catholic) or an image of a Buddha if you are a Buddhist etc. I don't encourage relatives or friends to cry in front of a dying person. Help the person to pass away peacefully without any worries. It will help him to be reborn in a better place or even heaven. There is definitely life after death. Whether you will get to see your friends again in the next life depends on your affinity with them. Even if you see them again say when they are reborn as human beings, you will not recognise them as our physical body this life will change in the next life. What we will bring to the next life is our mindstream. Hence, we need to be good not only in actions but thoughts and speech. Don't be afraid of death. Take it as the beginning of a new life. Keep praying and be peaceful. You show attachments to your friends. Let go all your attachments. Your affinity with your friends in this life is over. Pray for them and let go. You will feel happier. Having a religion is important as it teaches us to be good. Remember again, we will reap what we sow. Don't worry!

i'm Jewish, yet i will answer besides. i'm seventy one, so i'm probable plenty nearer to dying than you're. even though it does not hardship me. Non-life isn't painful, nor do you omit something. particular, it may be outstanding in a thank you to be waiting to stay continuously, yet i contemplate whether that would desire to finally end up boring after adequate eons. Our very own expertise is important to us, however the cosmos (or, in case you will, G-d) will final whilst quickly as we are long gone. And who can say for particular what component of our expertise would persist in that cosmic strategies. we've a organic and organic tendency to worry dying (so as that we are going to stay to tell the story to reproduce), yet it rather is all worry of dying is - a chemical and neurological tendency. that's the great equalizer in that all and sundry undergoes the approach. you have plenty to stay for. i'm hoping you may delight in it.

To answer your first question: Yes, there is life after death.
To answer the second question: Yes, there is something more - you stand before God and have to account for the way you lived your life.
To answer the third question: Your friends would tell you to lead a life that pleases God (Luke 16:19-31).

Acts 24:15 " and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous"

they will come back again to life in the near future under the kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6.

2Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The HEAVENS WILL DISAPPEAR with a roar. Fire will DESTROY EVERYTHING in them. God will judge the earth and everything in it.
11 So EVERYTHING WILL BE DESTROYED. And what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives.

1Corinthians 15:51 Listen! I am telling you a mystery. We will not all die. But we will all be changed. 52 That will happen in a flash, as quickly as you can wink an eye. It will happen when the last trumpet sounds. The trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised to live forever. And we will be changed.
53 Our natural bodies don’t last forever. They must be dressed with what does last forever. What dies must be dressed with what does not die.

There is life after your physical body dies. Heaven or hell for eternity. If you and your friends are born again then you will see each other in heaven. If not, hell is a terrible place to spend eternity. This may not make you feel better about death but it is the truth.
