I don't think anybody likes to hear about the next ones ex but you need to handle it with a little bit more of an open mind, it's not right to react childish by the ex's name being mentioned, if you react in this manner it would tell me that you might be insecure and need to work on being a more secure person, insecurities like you overreacting to the ex's name being mentioned tells me that you don't trust your bf 100%. It shouldn't be a problem if you truly trust each other.

If he starts comparing you to his ex(s)..Dump him and move on! That's not good for any relationship if the comparison issue comes into the picture!

Yes, you over reacted. Every guy will have an ex-girlfriend so the way you act towards his past is what will divide you from being a girl and a women. A girl will over react about his past and a women will try to understand his past, as he will over you ex's.

No one likes to hear about their partners ex. You shouldn't get angry at just the mention of her name however if they keep going on about her just ask them to stop and if they don't then you can get angry

You are wrong his sister is not bound by your relationship to her brother. You may not like her and you may have your reasons but every one else is aloud to have an opinion that may not agree with yours.

Giving intelligence in the hands of anger destroys self and nobody else.

Please quit shouting at us! As for your question, yes you were wrong and selfish to become angry at the mention of her name. What are you going to do, freak out every time you hear her name for the rest of your life. Please, grow up already.
