just drop your left foot back about one balls worth and you wont need offset clubs

an offset Iron gives you about a hundredth of a second more to get the club face square through the impact zone. due to the fact that the club's leading edge is situated behind the shaft. While this is fine for those that have a tendency to slice or push. If you are currently hitting straight it will require you to make swing adjustments to keep hitting straight with an offset Iron. My advice would be to hit them on a launch monitor to see if they are a fit for your swing.

To Iwas....... Don't go by feel alone. Actually hit them on a launch monitor.....The data will tell you if they will help or not.

I'm curious as to the answers you get. I was looking at a set of Taylor Made R7 Draw irons yesterday to replace my Nike NDS irons. According to the Taylor Made website, they are more forgiving (and my game often needs lots of forgiving), there is a larger sweet spot and the offset reduces the tendency to slice. I really don't slice my irons as much as hit them offline. I'm debating whether to spend 400 bucks on something that alignment could fix. But they really felt good in the shop...

Offset irons are typically more forgiving and limit miss hits; however, they also limit your ability to shape shots. I would recommend trying out a couple sets on a launch monitor and check out the flight.

well theyre offset so u can hit a draw instead of a slice, plus a draw always gos further than a slice, the offsets r easier 2 hit and they go further
