Start with industry organizations such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME. The student dues are very reasonable and you usually get a monthly magazine.

Ask around for industry trade magazines related to ME. They often have free subscriptions. The second link below is a list of more than 100 trade magazines related to various engineering fields.
