it all depends on where you shop. If its not from an actual store it's going to be like a quarter of the price. if its like at a somewhat american store, it could be like 1/2 the price. but in china they have stores like H&M (which they have in America) where it's just like a dollar or 2 cheaper. Then again, you could go to a "fake market" where they have fake designer stuff and like fake Abercrombie, American Eagle, and even Hollister. (its prettty funny) where you can bargain on stuff and get it down SUPER low!!! like +/- $5

hope this is what u wanted!!!! : )

Do NOT go to shopping in China unless you know how to bargain.

Most of items you find in the stores are locally made in China and they're cheap but still in good quality, I guess the cheapest in the world.

If you visit Shenzhen, China coming from Hong Kong, after China Immigration, you'll find the Lo Wu Commercial Building - a huge building with shops selling with a variety, quality and quantity of Chinese products from Fashion and Beauty, Jewelery and Watches, Consumer Electronics, Toys, etc.

The sales person will give you a price of HK$600 for a pair of shoes. Usually they will give you a calculator for you to enter your preferred price. Just enter 100. then expect that he will refuse and then he will give you a new price, could be 400 or 500. Bottom line, you can actually get it at HK$250 - HK$300.
Try to walk away if not and expect that he/she will go after you and give it up.

you don't just go shopping anywhere in china. you have to go to shengen area for clothes that at least looks like the same ones at home and if you're lucky you can find the overruns of the products sold in the Us and they are sometimes ahead of the season. it is cheaper on a per item basis but always check the items before you pay for them cause they don't have a return policy. ordinary tank tops can cost you for as little as +/- $2.00

Vietnam is extra decrease priced, yet their selection of clothing are limited. China is the applicable cost to save! Their selection of clothing are wider and you have extra options to chosen what you like. I bear in mind paying for a protracted-sleeved shirt in Shenzhen 6 months in the past with purely USD$8 (coverted from RMB). the same old became extremely stable! one hundred% cotton.

Things are cheap in China, but the quality of the products are very poor quality, and you'll lose your money in other ways during your trip.

There are a lot of bad people here.

you will get better value and pricing from outlet shopping in the US than you will shopping in china.

i live in china -- but i wait to go home to the US to do clothing shopping...

eating well in china can be very inexpensive -- that's the best value for money here i think.
