ok so i have a 12 week old kitten?

its a male and well i was wondering if it was to early to get him neudered and well he is really well loving and he constantly has to be with me is that normal cause i have a three year old male cat who never did this so i was curious if it was normal for him to not want to leave me alone at all and lick my face all the time and stuff

some cats are needier and more social than others. I've had both quiet and aloof and affectionate and communicative cats. You've got a really special bond with your kitten friend and I hope you will love him as much as he needs to be loved.

As for neutering - eh, I think it's early, but ask your vet. Be warned: he probably won't love on you as much after you neuter him tho....

Yes, he is just loving you, it is normal! As for neutering, it is early. Around 6-7 months is the best time. Sometimes it is done earlier, mostly when there is a reason like a shelter neutering a kitten in order to give it for adoption neutered, but the ideal is later.

Personally I think its cruel to get it done so early. When I read people said 8 weeks of age I was shocked. I grew up with cats my whole life and never have we gotten that done so early, but i would wait until he is about 4 to 6 months old. You can always ask your vet as well if you think its time.

I believe that he is not old enough but male cats usually do not become sexually active until they are 6 to 8 months old. you also could contact a vet and find out.

no its not too early. It can be done at atleast 8 weeks of age. When you get him neutered his attitude can change and maybe get fatter. But he's still young so he probably likes any attention he can get. I would say its normal.

No you can get him neutered. My sister got her cat neutered at about 8 weeks of age.
