Yes, why did all those events happen in the past and not in the present. Why did God stop communicating to us in the same manner he did way back when? Maybe if he did, then the bible would be more believible and not just viewed as fairy tales. I think now more than ever people want to see a sign from God. I'm sure God knows this but chooses to keep his distance.
It's like having a president of the US, but nobody has ever seen him or spoken to him. How would we know we even had a president? I'm sure God is wiser that man and would already know this and therefore would have hung out for all of time and not just thousands of years ago.
By the way, did the dinosours exist before or after Adam and Eve? Just wondering.

Religion can make any changes to God that they want. Don't forget that God was originally a woman and thousands of years ago, religion gave God a gender change. He doesn't talk through the sun and clouds anymore because religion changed God's megaphone.

When I was a child, I used to think that sun streaming through the clouds was God. Now I am an adult and I think like an adult.

Because the Israelites told God they wanted a human leader to talk to , not an invisible one .God tried to talk them out of this and explained the leader would have all the human flaws , but they insisted .

I think that after Jesus came and the new testament is complete now, your can listen to the voice of GOD through reading the bible or by praying and asking for his voice and inspiration. Try praying..It really works.

Maybe you're not listening carefully enough, or maybe there's too much background noise for you to hear.
