I know a family (a mom with a daughter and a son) who live in LA illegally. We know each other, but not close at all. I just know the mom's and her daughter's name, that they live in LA, and which school the daughter goes to. I also know her myspace. That's all.
I love this country (the US) and sometimes I feel I want to do something to help and feel the need to report them to government or to the police. We all know we need to reduce illegal immigrants. But thinking about reporting them sometimes makes me feel horrable because it sounds kinda mean. If you were me, would you report them tho? And if yes, how? And can we report this kinda thing anonimously?

Yes you should. Do not feel bad for the illegal actions of this woman. She put her kids in this spot and she didn't HAVE to do it illegally, she chose to. Feel bad for all of the Americans that support her existence, the benefits she most likely gets, the school that has to provide for yet another illegal child. I personally believe it is the responsibility and obligation of every American to report, boycott, contact reps, vote, rally, you name it. So, here is some direction and good luck with whatever you choose.

Yes, definitely have the mom arrested and leave those 2 kids without a parent to care for them. They won't be scared when they wait for mom and find out she won't be coming home tonight. Don't worry that there might be noone to look after them.
But why do it anonymously? You should be proud that you are doing something to help. After all a mom trying to provide for her kids by cleaning a house or working on a farm is a "horrable" and unspeakable thing.
Imagine your family lived in a poor country and they did not have food to put on the table for their kids. Imagine that was your mom. Open your eyes - she's a human being just like you. The only difference is that you were lucky enough to be born here and she was not.
And why don't you learn English "kinda" a little better?

Why would you want to report her? Did the girl steal your boyfriend? Or if your a guy did she turn you down? You need to remember Karma. What goes around comes around. If you are so proud of what you are going to do it openly not anonymously. Be a man or Women. Not a chicken hiding. Just remember one day you will be a parent.

Sure reporting them would be easy. But why take them away are they hurting you? Most people in their sisturation are hard working just trying to make a better life for their familyies. They pay taxes normaly under a false ss# so the government is getting their money and they dont get a tax refund like the rest of us. Just let them be. More kindness is needed in this world.

That is something only you can decide. You should be able to do it while looking them straight in the eye though. If you feel that strongly about it ,then you shouldn't hide. You are following the law but if you feel like it is something you can't do without feeling badly then forget it.It is not worth your peace of mind.
She is not the only illegal person,it is up to our government to do something about it. It is also up to us citizens but you must first be able to live with yourself. Meditate on it.

PEOPLE FROM MEXICO, realize the years of the immigrating here legally where back in the sixties, their is no chance of legally immigrating at this time if you are from Mexico, i know this because my wife is Mexican and I'm 100% aAmerican citizen, leave the poor lady to her humble life and kick your congressman in the teeth, we are all just here on earth for a short time, don't be the judge and executioner it helps no one.

Why should you fell guilty for her when she is the one breaking the law? That's how they got a foothold in our nation to start with, if it were only a few, it would be different. I don't feel responsible that she came in illegally, neither should you. But follow your own conscience, if you think that she deserves to disregard our laws and live here illegally, then don't do it!

When are you people ever going to learn to mind your own damn business. You don't even know for sure if they're illegal. The kids were most likely born in America, so are you going to report them too, even though they're Americans?

i don't blame anyone for wanting to deport people here but i wish that you guys would put yourself in these peoples shoes. YES. some of them are criminals and stuff and by all means deport them but don't deport the families that are here trying to gain a better life.in this case i prob. wouldn't because you didn't mention anything about them doing something bad here in the US. i would understand about you wanting to deport them if for example they were breaking laws or doing something bad. please put yourself in this persons place.

it would be mean, and you really don't know what problems or hardships you could cause. you can easily end a family and make them all depressed.

so if you are a good-hearted American, don't do it. they only want to live here because they left a corrupt country that doesn't care about them, and they were running out of money, and they knew about the opportunities the US had, and they were forced to come here.
