i am currently living in america legally but i'm not an american citizen i was thinking about moving to england as a single person, i already got a u.k. settlement visa application form but do i really need a sponsor?

do i really need to have a relative living in th u.k.?
do i have to marry a british citizen in order to obtain a u.k. permanent residense. i'm not friends with anyone from the u.k.

i need a british citizen to sponsor me if so

Don't get me wrong but you'd think being an immigrant you'd have been through this once before and know about it.

No. You don't need to have a relative living in the UK.
No. you don't need to marry a British citizen in order to obtain UK PR.
No. You're not going to find a British citizen willing to sponsor you on this website.

You can get through on your own merits, it's just easier and quicker if you have relatives, sponsors or marry through.

My brother lives in England now. He met his wife on the internet and decided to live over there. I don't recall hiim needing all that stuff to do so. You sound like you cannot make up your mind which country you want to live in. You are from another country, living in another country and want to move to still another country. Maybe you should to go back to your own country and get things straight there as to what you want out of life instead of country hopping. Just a thought.

I'm not sure about the permanent residence thing in the U.K>, but they are a damn sight easier to get there than over here in america.

and i don't THINK you need a living relative or friend, but im can't be sure- they like changing those rules.
