Must have been, or he wouldn't have been politically correct.

No, he was straight.

The Gospel of Philip is pretty clear on this. Of course the Gospel of Philip never made it into the final cut of the Bible, much like the Gospels of Mary, of Judas and others known to have existed at the time--but didn't fit in with the politics of the church who wanted to limit the role of women in the church and in society.

Mary was his GIRLFRIEND, and she may have married him.

From the Gospel of Philip:
And the companion of the [...] Mary Magdalene. [...] loved her more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her often on her mouth. The rest of the disciples [...]. They said to him "Why do you love her more than all of us?" The Savior answered and said to them,"Why do I not love you like her? When a blind man and one who sees are both together in darkness, they are no different from one another. When the light comes, then he who sees will see the light, and he who is blind will remain in darkness."

Did you want this answer only from blinder-wearing Christians? Or people who have actually studied ALL of the available Christian literature of the epoch, including those Gospels that weren't deemed "politically correct" at the time? (Or today for that matter. All of the fundamentalist sheep can go ahead and give me thumbs down now...)

Why is it so hard for the Blinder Christians to realise that when you edit a book, a lot of the truth, a lot of what was originally written, doesn't make the final cut because certain ideas weren't within the bounds of the male dominated church who wanted to keep it that way?

It's important to remember that in Pagen societies, Females were dominant, all of the symbolism like fertility statues and the idea of "Mother Earth were female. The Christianity movement was men's chance to change all that and be in charge for the first time in history.

Didn't it ever occur to you that the Christians so bent on burning "Witches" never really went after "Warlocks"? "Witches" were just women still practicing Pagen rituals, using herbs and plants etc...they were a danger to the new male order of things that needed to be supressed.

If Jesus is such a nice guy, so filled with love, why is it difficult to believe that he had a girlfriend?

He was the equivalent of a Rock Star in his day. And he was just a man.

no. the son of man generally implies gender. so, jesus couldn't be an asexual organism. besides, he probably had some stuff going on with mary magdalene. and i can't blame him. she sounded pretty hot. :))

To be consistant fundies have to think he was straight but never was tempted. If he was tempted then he felt lust and since, by his own words, lusting, even in his heart, was the same as doing, he was not sinless.
Oops, another contradiction. Go figure.

Jesus Christ was an infant boy child who grew to be a man who washed away the sins of the world as the lamb of god , and hopefully one day you will cry out to him for your salvation.

Some claim he was actually married to Mary Magdeline and men chose to discredit her name to take away her power among the people and suppress women....ohhhhh that's going to get me thumbs down...you watch hehehe

I agree with #2 (never thought I'd say that). But he was JUST A MAN, even though he was perfect. He still had our desires and issues, he just mastered them, perfectly.
