when my son was little we had our little group of boys who were in kindergarten, cub scouts etc together. i just got word the mom of one of the boys died. my last get together with her was a dinner for me before we moved out of state in 1991. we took a few really nice pics at dinner. I dont know if it is appropiate to enclose one of this woman, she looked so pretty and happy, and we were having such fun. she was an awesome mom and a good friend. even though i had not seen her since 1991 i thought about her often.

It would depend on the persons relationship.
like, for instance, If it is the person's father of whom they where very close to, it would most likely make them sad, but if it is a pic of you all together with the deceased person and it is a pic that they do not have, it would be nice and I'm sure they would appreciate it.

I think it would be a lovely gesture and the family would be happy to have the picture.
Sympathy cards are very reassuring to the family members. I went over the ones I received when my brother died several times. I would have loved to have received an old picture of him when he was healthy. I say go for it.

I think it would be nice and give your sympathy note a touch of real genuine caring. Do this and you will not be sorry and neither with those bereaved people that receive it.

I think that would be very nice, add a note explaining the good times you will remember with her, and tell the family that she will be dearly missed.

I'm sorry to here about your Friend.

Yes it would be nice to have someone share their pics even though the person has just passed.
Go for it and they will thank you later.

I would not do that, and would not like it if someone did it to me.
