If He hears His people crying for the end to come, as many are, do you think He'll be like "uggggggghhhhhh....fine. Jesus...it's show time...tell everybody to get in position and enter stage left!"??

Ok...so maybe not so theatrically dramatic....but you know what I mean...will God say "they're ready, the time is now"?

Futureteacher(or whatever)

What if God will be ready when we, as His children are ready?

Maybe we have to accept the fact the end is near before He will come....

We do not know how God works, so maybe he'll be ready when we're ready!

brian: Looking at it from a totally different perspective, I would say, that it is not a matter of "His people crying for the end to come", but has everyone on earth realized that their ways are CAUSING the end to come? People (Christians) through the centuries thought, that Jesus was coming back in their time, and equally, were praying so.
God does not sit up in heaven and send down pollution, upset weather patterns, wars, greed, Terrorists etc., etc. - people do! If God were to all of a sudden, at the request of "His people" send Jesus back, - what would be the point since people would still be people bent on continuing to do his or her "own thing" ?
When you study the prophesies, the state of the earth is going to be in absolute chaos. It will arrive at the point, where, unless God sends Jesus Christ back, "there will be no flesh alive" - just that bad. God will HAVE TO send Jesus back - that's why Jesus will come then - at that particular time frame. The people will NOT be ready - "like a thief in the night" will the return of Jesus be to this earth - unexpected !!!

The same way God enters our lives at different times and circumstances, sometimes only when we finally submit and quit fighting our will against his will,

the same thing happens "collectively" for all people.

So when all people full receive understand and see the same God, that is when his truth and presence will be established on earth. this will not happen without everyone asking and agreeing, as God respects our free will and so we must forgive past conflicts and accept grace by free will before God can fully enter and manifest.

What happens after that on the heavenly level, we will know when we get there. I imagine Judgment Day is the process of holding each person to answer for or correct all the actions and issues of the following or law that we chose to commit to, especially if we judged others by those standards, we will be judged by ours, not by their which apply to them respectively.

This process has already started, as has the return of Christ already begun with the people who already have his presence in their lives. When we all reach that point, that is the Kingdom of God, on earth as it is in heaven.

You sound rather young. It's good you are wondering though. Many online don't know anymore than you do. The answers are in the Bible......except for the exact time He will return. But it still gives a general time line.

God is Holy and all wise.

The Bible says His ways are higher than our ways.

The question is are we ready for His coming?

The Bible says that no man knows the hour or the day He will return.

If you want to really know, read the Bible.. or get someone to show you the verses that explain this.

hi brian, God is full of mercy and he hears each prayer, but only God knows when he will send Jesus Christ back, in His own time, not based on our prayers for Him to return. just hang in there and be ready for His return, at any moment. God said he will return "as a thief in the night". i hope this helped. :)

He will come like a thief in the night. Time is a created element which we are created within. God exists outside the rhelm of time. Do you know what I mean?

Mercy is not giving a person what they deserve. Grace is giving them what they don't deserve. In all thy getting, get understanding. Stay in the Word. As Paul said clearly to the church in Thessolonica, first the falling away, then the rapture, then the anti-christ and tribulation, then armageddon and finally Jesus returns with all the saints. Oh I want to be in that number, when the saints come marching in.

People say He will do it when He is ready. That's not really correct. He will do it when WE need it the most. Only He knows when that will be.

God knows EVERYTHING! He already knows when the world will be ready for Christ's coming and knows when it will be. It won't happen earlier than planned.

My thoughts are that everyone will be given a vision in their head that he is coming. Like a big Mother ship. A city of lights.
It will be so spectacular that every knee will bow. maybe our brains will just react that way. Some in fear and some in worship. Perhaps there will be an instant transformation of our bodies to light beings and those who don't believe will not see anything and we will disappear and they will loose any memory of us. Kind of like the Incas who just disappeared.
God will not consult anyone and it's already happened.

I love your question..and I love how your mind works!!! I sometimes imagine a big red alarm clock in Heaven that God set after creation, on the seventh day.....one day that alarm will go off and can you imagine the angels like firemen going down the poles, jumping on their clouds and flying down to take us home!!!

However it happens, lets hope it's soon! :)
