I don't think so. It takes more faith to believe because it is illogical to believe in a supernatural being or deity.

I personally believe in Gods, Fairies, and Ancestor Spirits, just as some may believe in Angels and Demons. But I see the point you're making and I like it -- there's this silly argument in Christian apologetics which states, "It takes more faith to be an atheist than it does to believe in God." Thank you for pointing out the absurdity of that statement.
My belief in supernatural beings is a choice. I have had personal spiritual experiences, which I could probably explain away if I wanted to (dreams, fantasy, etc.) but I don't. I choose to believe in these things because they have meaning for me. But I would never insist that you, or anyone else, believe them also. I would never force my "irrational" beliefs onto anyone else. But I think that is why atheists and skeptics may attack religion or supernatural beliefs so vehemently -- it is a defensive stance, a counter-attack. You are so sick of being "evangelized" that you're fighting back. I understand that. I've been there.
But I ask you this, out of respect. I will not force my beliefs on you. Don't force your disbelief on me. Don't turn into that which you despise. An evangelical fundamentalist atheist is still an evangelical fundamentalist.

I think you have an interesting question, which really gives a pathway to another.
I think it's safe to say that most people don't believe in fairies; and having said that, I also think that most of these people are at peace with their disbelief, and really don't care if some one else believes in fairies or not.
Then, why is it when someone who has rejected the idea of God, finds it so vexing that other people DO believe in God?
If its just a myth, why should it matter one way or the other to them?

i'm going to positioned up non everlasting faith on an identical time as a attempt some thing that demands it. So If i'm getting consequences (seeing is believing) then i understand its some thing i do no longer choose faith for, with the aid of fact I actual have my very own information. Now if I prepare non everlasting faith, and get no consequences, I in basic terms deem it as fake. this way i do no longer could desire to straight away classify all issues paranormal as faux, and that i can provide them of challenge, yet on the comparable time, no longer blindley have faith in fake issues my entire existence.

When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you
If your heart is in your dreams
No request is to extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do
