not sure what this is about. but like everyone else says, the shadow falls in a direction away from the light source, so that would make it falling towards darkness. i would hazard a guess that it could be said that the shadow is more in the future because the light has to happen first, then the shadow appears.

all shadows fall away from the light. In the morning, they point towards the future location of the sun (the west), in the afternoon it's the past location of the sun (the east).
Come to think of it, maybe I'm leaking darkness into the shadow. I'll get that checked out.

Depending on where the light is, your shadow falls opposite. For instance, if the light is to your left, your shadow will be to your right. A shadow occurs because the the object casting the shadow is obscuring the light source.

The shadow falls in the direction opposite the source of light.
Really, what do they teach them in these schools?

My shadow falls to the opposite direction of the sun. It is against the sun's light, which is passing over from East to West. But mymind is not dark to Westerners
