Accept it, nobody is going to win this "illegal-legal inmigration" issue, whatever way you look at it, we are both going to lose something, I don't need to know if you are a pro, or an anti, nobody is going to win, let me know what do you think!

To its-so-aboutMEone:
Sadly, I have to agree with you in part, I know a lot of inmigrants, be it legal or legal, they do exactly what you said, it have nothing to do with the race part, I wish some day our people who is looking for a better shot at life do what it takes to have a better chance at being accepted in this society, it's people like the one you mentioned that give us a bad name, and I feel myself ashamed of them. Hey, if you want to be accepted at a particular society, you got to behave in a way that is acceptable to that particular society you want to be part of,right?

I think people would be better off trying to come up with realistic solutions based on the practical realities.
Nobody at either extreme is going to get 100% of what they want -- because both extremes are ignoring the reality that says those approaches are not practical.
So, let's stop fighting about impossible goals and start trying to find solutions for 50% of the problem, or 80% of the problem -- and deal with that much first.

Before anyone settles for a compromise, they should move into a typical, bills-paid apartment complex that is 95 to 100% illegals and children thereof. Live there for a few months, day and night. Get to know the neighbors. Watch how they live. Count the La Raza bumper stickers. Watch half-naked men urinate in public (sorry but it's true), count the used "protection" on the ground every morning, estimate the number of beer bottles and cases thrown on the ground night after night after night.
Also, take a look at the cars that have no inspection or registration but, instead, only a paper dealer tag on back (then watch that car for a few weeks, those things expire in 21 days for most states...a new one appears). Notice how many of those cars have something covering the VIN number on the dash - a piece of paper or something - so no one can call in and check if it's stolen.
Do all that before EVER deciding that a compromise is acceptable.

There is absolutely no way we should resign to the notion that illegal immigration cannot be resolved.
Our president could seal the border with Mexico with military troops or National Guard in 2 weeks, while a fence is built to more efficiently secure the border permanently.
We could stop illegal immigration cold anytime, and the popular widespread political will is building toward demanding that.
It's only liberals with misplaced sympathies who support any compromise of what is clearly the law of our nation.
We don't let murderers, rapists, and other felons go free and unpunished just because there are limited resources to deal with those crimes, and neither should we resign to illegal immigration, just because there are 12 to 20 million illegals here, and more crossing every day.
If we enforce our laws, the deterrant will stop the illegal flow, and send millions packing home where they came from. It really is that simple.
The key is demanding our borders be secured, not passively resigning to the notion that it "can't be solved" and we should just "accept it".
I'm glad the nation didn't just "accept it" when Pearl Harbor was bombed.
And this wave of illegals is just as much of an invasion and threat to our sovereignty.

I think if American citizens dont get rid of illegal immigration ,you are right, nobody will win,America will be just like Mexico. Our resources cannot support that many poor people.
*Also the threat of terrorism will eventually be the end to America if our borders are not better secured,I think Americans are to comfortable to realize how threatened this country is,and how vulnerable.

We all came to this country for reasons. Our ancesters came here for freedom. Maybe the mexicans want what we have too but they should have to be citizens of the USA if they want to live here, just like my great grandparents did 100 years ago. They had to learn English, and learn our laws. It should be the same to New immigrants as well as the people that came here first. Fair is fair.

There will be some type of compromise reached. There really isn't any other option. Neither side can afford (economically or otherwise) to get their complete "wish list", and, our president wants rights pushed through, congress may not, but, some compromise has to be made.
Or, they will just secretly do whatever they want to anyway, and, blind-side the public.

What do you mean no one will win? Do you think that we'll spend the next thousand years watching Mexicans hop a fence into America?
It's not a war, it just happens, and how we manage it is the debate.

I think all the illegals should be rounded up, fingerprinted (in case they try to come back), deported, and their homeland should receive the bill instead of our tax payers.
