To be serious, Canadian income taxes overall are higher in general, but encompass more benifits to the populous (Ie healthcare). In the US, taxes are lower, but there are fewer benifits.

Canadian and US taxes are basically the same, all expensive and against the will of the people.

actually when you add ALL the taxes that americans pay it is one of the highest taxed nations in the world, they just don't put it all together like everyone else so it looks like we aren't taxed as much.
