Selling my computer part 2?

Question

I got good answers telling me to reformat my computer and use a software to erase my information since I'm selling my computer to a stranger. Can I just use the free software or use them both?

Not sure what you mean by free software, but I would only be concerned about the Operating System and don't worry about the rest, thats an option for anything else.
