It depends on how bad your eyesight is. If you can get by with it, you might only use it for stuff at school/work and driving (which is a DEFINITE MUST!).

I do it the way i stated above because I have a nearsighted eye and a farsighted eye, so I don't need my glasses around the house (one eye will read for me, the other will see distances). But I do need the correction when I am at school, (and I will have the correction when I am at work, since you never know what you have to read at work). I certainly use it when I am driving because I could cause a wreck or not be able to avoid getting into one just because my eyes aren't perfect.

Only "have" to wear all the time if you are currently under treatment for lazy eye and the glasses are part of the treatment.

Otherwise you only need to wear them when you want to see clearly or avoid headaches due to blurred vision.

What kind of stupid question is this? Am I your parent or something? You can't make your own decisions about your own body?
