I'm not Catholic, but I don't believe Jesus was born with original sin. Because he was the son of God, only in human form so he could dwell on Earth, he would still be sinless and perfect. I disagree, though, with the fact that the virgin Mary was born without original sin. She was human, and therefore naturally sinful, even if she was conceived with Jesus.

The original sin is passed on by Adam, or the male partner of a union. The female does not pass the original sin, however she recieves it from her father. Mary was not born without original sin, she received it from her father. Jesus on the other hand, had no earthly father, He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, therefore, He never received the original sin.

Try not to learn so much from man, but from the Holy Spirit. The Bible is God's Holy written word, when you read it, God speaks to you. There is no mediator between God and man, except the Son of God, Jesus the Messiah. Pray for understanding, talk to God daily, read the Scriptures daily, and the Holy Spirit will answer all your questions.

God be with you,

Jesus was indeed born with original sin. His "sin" is cleansed when his cousin, John the Baptist baptizes him in the Jordan River. This is why Catholics baptize at birth to remove the sin of Adam & Eve (original sins). And yes, Catholics believe Mary was the only one born without this original sin.

Sorry Dita, you are wrong there. Mary had two human parents and therefore was subject to inherited sin.
But because of her faithfulness, she was chosen to bear Jesus. It was Jesus who was born without sin. born perfect.
Because he was God's son, he did not inherit 'original sin' which as disobedience.
(Genesis 2:16-17) And Jehovah God also laid this command upon the man: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. 17 But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”

(1 Timothy 2:11-15) Let a woman learn in silence with full submissiveness. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach, or to exercise authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 Also, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was thoroughly deceived and came to be in transgression. 15 However, she will be kept safe through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and sanctification along with soundness of mind.

No, He was born sinless. God can not sin, He is perfection.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (New American Standard Bible)

21He made Him who (A)knew no sin to be (B)sin on our behalf, so that we might become the (C)righteousness of God in Him.

Hebrews 4:14-16 (New International Version)
Jesus the Great High Priest
14Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens,[a] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. 16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

there is no such thing as original sin! Babes are born pure, they have unconditional Love which is the purest of energy's and this Love/energy is our Spirit. In the gospels of Thomas verse 29 Jesus said if flesh came into being because of Spirit, that is a Marvel, but if Spirit came into being because of body, that is a Marvel of Marvels Yet I marvel at how this great wealth has come to dwell in this poverty [meaning man]

i'm not catholic, christian actually, but how can jesus be with original sin? First of all, jesus is god in human form, and God is sinless. Second, jesus has to be sinless because he died for our sins, taking our sin onto him. A sinful person/being can die and wash away the sins. That's like washing a dirty car with mud.
