When politically correct and conformity became the norm here in the U.S. Thank the Christians and political figures for this insult.

The person who told them to stop laughing probably was having a bad day, or life, and needs to get the stick removed from their ***. When you are a child life should be about laughter and fun, not 'grown-up' worries. Adults have enough time and things to be stressed out about, at least let us have the first 16 - 18 years of our lives to be kids.

Talk about cranky! One of the things I love about being around my kids and their friends (teens) is they make me laugh, they enjoy just being together and having a good time. Some adults could be more like young people! As for God, I think laughter and joy affirmations of life, and definitely gifts from God, and gifts we can offer to God.

Yeah, well you should have grown up when kids were expected to be seen and not heard. We were not wanted around the adults, told to take it outside and expected to spend the best part of the day outside when home from school and during the summer, and most of the time we were expected to be quiet at the dinner table. Kids have it a lot better than we used to as far as being able to talk and laugh around adults, and we behaved better and didn't get in trouble as much as kids do now days.
And if you gave me the thumbs down, we weren't being rude either. We weren't allowed to be rude or we got a spanking from one of our parents.

Nothing is wrong with the kids. Things start going south once they get old (as you witnessed today).
If I ever get that old and crotchety (33 now- no spring chicken) I hope I just get hit by a bus. Really, what would be the point of living?

When did it become wrong for PEOPLE to laugh?
Why do adults cover their mouths when they laugh like they're ashamed?
Why do people laugh quietly, and glance around the room?
Because we think everything natural is bad.
Man wants to be artificial and mechanic.
One task after another.
No creativity.
No emotion.
And, since it worked so well for the USSR and every other oppressive nation, I can see why we want to repeat it.

The person that told the kids to stop laughing is stupid and miserable. You did the right thing. What a good reminder for all of us.----Blessings!

It isn't wrong, kids should be kids. Laughter is the best medicine. Sounds like some one was cranky, maybe they didn't get their diaper changed?

God only laughs when he destroys cities or better when people destroy cities for him.
But yes, kids should continue to be kids because once you grow old you can't do the same things as kids, youth doesn't last forever.
