yes the new GTR will be coming to you next year or so, i also read and the end of this year for us in the UK.And it will be street legal to all.

Although the engines are being differed to some countries.

And a reply to one answer further up you do have the Skyline in the US the infiniti G35.Which is the same version we have in the UK just under v35 v36.
And there is a good few older versions coming through as imports.I see some many new US members(skylineowners.com) with r32 r33 etc whom have bought them in and into the US with no major problems, Or risk of being taken off them.

The car is coming and I know that Universal City Nissan in Universal City, CA is already taking orders for it. I saw one on I-5 a while back coming back to Orange County from San Diego. It looked sweet. That one was a test mule from what I was told. Noone will say whether or not it's going to have a boosted V6 or a V8. However, it is coming!!! Also, the price will be steep after dealer mark up so it will be as steep as some would figure. I'm guessing up to $90K ($100K is possible) at some dealers with the demand being as high as it appears it will be.

Nissan first claimed they were making an actual street legal Skyline for the US, never happened. I have noticed their GT-R concept all over their site for the past year or so. They need to either release it, or take it off their site.

Isn't that thing selling for $70,000-$80,000? So, if you can afford it.. more power to ya. I just don't like the look of the concept GT-R. I hope the real GT-R (when/if they release it....) will look better.

Well the sale of the new R35 comes out 08 Spring IT DOES NOT COME OUT IN 09 don't believe check nissan site. News about the the new GTR has been out for a while and is not a concept anymore. The cost of the car is about $75,000. They wanted to make this car i think about 500hp but beacause of emission standards had to lower it down to 450hp

Middle of next year release date as a 2009 car rumor has it at 450 hp twin turbocharged 3.7 liter V-6 Six speed Manual or automatic with all wheel drive. There are mules already running around the States and Europe.

Yeah, I heard that. FIVE YEARS AGO! It will be sold as an Infiniti, thus it will be totally wimped out, probably won't even to be able to get a real manual transmission in it. Only slushboxes and paddle shifters. Leather seats and a million pounds of sound insulation, navigation, airbags, other crap. Absurdly large V6, RWD only, possibly 4 doors.

The Skyline is dead.
