I am going to Aruba in the third week of September 2007 and a couple friends and I rented a villa in the Noord section of Aruba. I'm told it is a .5 mile walk to the beach....can anyone give me some details about this section of Aruba? This is our first trip to Aruba and we are all single males in our 30's.

hahaha They'll be happy to hear someone said they have good taste. I chose the house and they are tagging along. Thank you for answering, I'm soooo looking forward to it, hopefully there will be some other single people there.

Aruba is paradise!!! Noord is a beautiful area I'm sure you will enjoy this great Island. Make sure you ware sunscreen at all times, it's always windy in Aruba sometime you don't really feel the sun but it's there and very strong, you don't want to ruin your holiday...
Enjoy the great restaurants, the food is wonderful.
So much to see and do if you want, or just enjoy the beautiful sun, water and great people.
I've been in Aruba 14 times and going back in Feb. Can't wait!!!

Wow, your friends have good taste. That area is Aruba's most prestigious residential area.
If you do a google search, you can see some of the homes.

Just be careful when you go into town to go shopping or bar hop.
