There is nothing bad a drill instructor can do you. They really don't yell anymore because you can't be stressed. They an't put there hands on you either. The wrath of your platoon is worst. They can do whatever to you once the drill instructor is gone. If you tell, you just make it worse on yourself.

I was in the AF so we had Training Instructors. I remember my sister flights TI saying we are not here for petty things, we are here to learn to work together and make sure that if we are in a foxhole together that you will have my back and not shoot me in the back.
To answer your question, the worst thing they can do is be soft on them. The recruits are called to defend our country and the freedoms we enjoy and I thank them from the bottom of my heart!!!

Well rule 1 in basic training is no goodies, i.e. candy bars, cigarettes, and the like. Seen this happen before:

The worst thing is after a private gets such a package from home, they will invite all of the other drill seargants and enjoy it right in front of your face.

The worst thing a DI could do to a recruit is ignore him.. A DI has so much experience .. that if he does not pay attention to you.. you will never get their knowledge.. and you will probably never make it.

I wish you well!

honestly i think the worst thing your drill instructor can do is not be their best for you. it would let you down in more ways than one and possibly have long term effects on you.

Not prepare you for combat. Nothing they do in boot camp will ever be as bad as combat, trust me on this. USMC 66-69
