I'm writing a short story with a girl from Edinburough (sp?) in it and I need to know how her accent would sound. Specifically, how would she pronounce these things:
1. "Amber"
2. "Adrian"
3. "Danica"

If you can help, thanks!

okay, Scottish accents differ, and I'm not an expert on Scotch accents, but here we go.
1. Ahm-ber (the is definitely pronounced)
2. Ay-dree-an (don't make dr sound like jr such as American draw, or dream etc).
3. Dahn-eeca (I would assume)

Notable things about Scottish is the actual pronunciation of the devoiced /ʍ/ (sometimes written /hw/) for our words.
There some other little things.

there is not any one single Scottish accessory to any extent further than there's a single English or a Welsh one, actual? i like a excellent knowledgeable Scottish accessory. What does Vampire recommend by utilising a BRITISH accessory? we are all British, so our accents could be too, no?

Scots sound like Scotty on Star Trek.

They add 'be' in front of their verbs a lot, as in

"What ye be thinkin' laddie?"

Like Craig Ferguson, or Fat Bastard on Austin Powers.
