Im guessing stress. It is very odd that your skin breaks out in your 30's. You might be having some sort of allergic reaction. You might be having a reaction to the makeup you're using or it might even be the applicator you're using.Try switching your makeup brands and types until you find one that reduces the break outs. I recommend Neutrogena Healthy Skin liquid makeup. It's oil-free and SPF 20. Also, it is Hypoallergenic, Non-comedogenic, Non-acnegenic, and Fragrance Free. I'm almost positive that the acne is stemming from stress levels. You just got over your 2nd pregnancy and of course, having a new born child in the home is a bit stressful. I recommend, also, using Soapless cleanser like Aquanil. It's for sensitive skin and won't disrupt your skins natural oil production. It will just remove excess dirt and oil. Avoid using harsh facial cleansers because THEY WILL disrupt your skins natural oil production and therefore your skin will produce more oil.

I am 37 and still suffer from mild acne. It has been continuous since I was a pre-teen. I tried proactive, but it only helped a little. Finally I made an appointment with a dermatologist. It took a few months of trying different products, but it is finally under control. I still get the occasional pimple, but it is much better. You are most likely breaking out because your hormones are off. Just like when you were a teen. I recommend also seeing your physician to do a blood test to find out.

Trust me I know how you feel. I started getting acne real bad at 35. I was introduced to African Black Soap for my acne by (Dudu Osun). It does wonders for my face and body. It has all natural ingredients in it like Shea Butter, Coco pod ashes, lemon juice, aloe vera and palm fruit oil which are wonderful for the skin. Not only does it control acne but it helps to lighten up those post acne marks too! To moisturize, I use just a little Shea Butter. I like it because it doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your skin, helps to lighten dark spots and gives you an instant flawless glow. You only need a little though because too much Shea Butter will leave your face oily looking. Buy the Shea Butter that is "unrefined" because it still has all the healing properties in it. Make sure it is yellow in color too because the white Shea Butter is "refined" and bleached with chemicals which means all its all the healing properties are taken out. I purchase mine from eBay or most beauty supply stores have it. Hopes this helps you because it definitely helped me out a lot!

I am sure your doctor can help with the prescription med. I woud also look at your diet. Cut soda out of your diet, this will not only make you healthier but help clear up acne. A clean diet, makes for a clean body. I believe Pro activ does work but you may need to look at the way you are eating. I am over 30 and have had the same problem and this worked for me.
