1999 safari 4.3L NOT STARTING - checked and found that the safari will turnover but will not start. I checked for sparks and find it ok. Checked fuel pressure and found it ok. Checked for codes and found no codes (but if I remove the connection on the throttle position sensor - the Safari will start and run ok !! So I remove the complete throttle body and replace the throttle position sensor and also replace the idle air control and clean the throttle. Re-install everything back and test but it wil not start and run. So again, I remove the throttle position sensor and the car starts. Do not know what to do!!! Thanks, D.

try adjusting the TPS. it may be set to low and causing a starting issue. try applying the throttle just a little to see if it will start. when you unplug it the ECM thinks its bad and goes it limp in mode.......
